Rebuilding your home after a disaster strikes can be a stressful, long process. RUI Construction and Disaster Services specializes in insurance restoration and fire reconstructions.
An Overland Park townhouse duplex caught fire as a result of a BBQ grill mishap on the back deck. The home’s trim and wood shake shingle roof became fully engulfed and fell into the home, destroying it.
Crews demolished the remaining debris all the way to the foundation, retaining the down wall and the floor joists. Reconstruction started to restore the 2,500 square foot home back to its original condition. Because the other side of the duplex was being restored by another company, RUI collaborated and cooperated with them throughout the construction process, which lasted just over five months.
The homeowners returned to their townhouse and continue to live happily in it.
