A recent project for Tapco, based in Lenexa, Kansas, exemplifies how essential minimized downtime is to a business. The rental and direct sales company of floor mats, towels, aprons, mops and sanitation supplies experienced an electrical fire that compromised the roof of its metal structure. Full replacement was needed.
During the process, RUI Construction and Disaster Services collaborated with the insurance company and coordinated the relocation of necessary components to another unaffected portion of the facility, which also required plumbing and electrical modifications for their use. As RUI worked to complete the roof replacement, Tapco was able to continue to do business for its clients. Because RUI experts stepped in to proactively deal with the situation and assist in establishing a temporary operational location, Tapco’s negative impact from the disaster was significantly minimized.
With all clients, RUI attempts to minimize both physical and financial impacts. Not only do our experts consider the long-term solutions (such as roof restoration/replacement or rebuilding of structures), but they also implement short-term options that will assist their clients along the way.
